Competitive Dropping of Trailers. The Employer will not drop a trailer to be loaded or unloaded un- less the customer has been determined by the Company and the Local Union to be a competitive drop. Trailers dropped for less than twenty-four (24) hours during a layoff must be covered by bargain- ing unit employees, except in cases of customers serviced by non- union carriers.
