Casual Rates. For each ordinary hour worked, a casual employee shall be paid the hourly equivalent of the appropriate weekly wage prescribed by this Agreement for the work performed, plus an additional 20 percent of that hourly rate. Such loading is in lieu of public holidays not worked, sick leave, jury service and bereavement leave, prescribed for any other employees under this Agreement. The NSW Annual Holidays Act 1944 provides that a casual employee under this Agreement is entitled to receive an additional 1/12th of the ordinary casual hourly wage rate in lieu of annual leave.

Casual Rates. (a) The casual rates for student contact are inclusive of all preparatory and consequential activity required for successful teaching and include a loading.
