Compliance Plan and Program. DBH has established an Office of Compliance for purposes of ensuring adherence to all standards, rules and regulations related to the provision of services and expenditure of funds in Federal and State health care programs. Contractor shall either adopt DBH’s Compliance Plan/Program or establish its own Compliance Plan/Program and provide documentation to DBH to evaluate whether the Program is consistent with the elements of a Compliance Program as recommended by the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Inspector General. Contractor’s Compliance Program must include the following elements:
a. Designation of a compliance officer who reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and the Contactor’s Board of Directors and compliance committee comprised of senior management who are charged with overseeing the Contractor’s compliance program and compliance with the requirements of this account. The committee shall be accountable to the Contractor’s Board of Directors.
