COMPLIANCE WITH CIVIL RIGHTS. The parties agree to abide by the requirements of the following as applicable: Titles VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended; the Equal Opportunity Act of 1972, as amended; Federal Executive Order 11246, as amended; the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended; the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974; Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; the Age Discrimination Act of 1975; the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended, and Title II of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008. The parties agree not to discriminate in employment practices, and shall render services under the contract without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, national origin, veteran status, genetic information, political affiliation, disability, or age in any matter relating to employment. Any act of discrimination committed by the Entity, or failure to comply with these statutory obligations when applicable shall be grounds for termination of this Agreement.

  • Compliance with Civil Rights Laws The Contractor hereby assures that it will comply with Subchapter VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 42 USC Sections 2000 (e) (1) through 2000 (e) (17), to the end that no person shall, on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, religion, ancestry, age, condition of physical handicap, marital status, political affiliation, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under this Contract or under any project, program, or activity supported by this Contract. The Contractor shall comply with Exhibit D - Contractor’s EEO Certification.

  • Civil Rights A. Xxxxxxx agrees to comply with state and federal anti-discrimination laws, including: i. Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 U.S.C. §2000d et seq.); ii. Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. §794); iii. Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. §12101 et seq.);

  • Civil Rights Requirements The Recipient agrees that it must comply with applicable federal civil rights laws, regulations, and requirements, and follow applicable federal guidance, except as the Federal Government determines otherwise in writing. Therefore, unless a Recipient or a federal program, including the Indian Tribe Recipient or the Tribal Transit Program, is specifically exempted from a civil rights statute, FTA requires compliance with each civil rights statute, including compliance with equity in service requirements.

  • Compliance with Codes The School shall be located in facilities that comply with all applicable State and county building, zoning, fire, health, and safety code requirements. 7.3.1. If the School is located in facilities other than DOE facilities, the School shall obtain and maintain any necessary certificates or permits required for use and occupancy of the School's facilities from the applicable building, zoning, fire, health, and safety authorities. The School shall immediately notify the Commission in the event that any such certificate or permit is jeopardized, suspended, or revoked. 7.3.2. Where necessary, the School shall be responsible for requesting permits and approvals from appropriate governmental agencies in compliance with this subparagraph.

  • Civil Rights Compliance The parties to this Agreement are responsible for the following:

  • Compliance with Americans with Disabilities Act Contractor shall provide the Services in a manner that complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), including but not limited to Title II’s program access requirements, and all other applicable federal, state and local disability rights legislation.

  • Compliance with Other Laws Secured Party may comply with any applicable state or federal law requirements in connection with a disposition of the Collateral and compliance will not be considered to adversely affect the commercial reasonableness of any sale of the Collateral.

  • Compliance with Equal Benefits Ordinance With respect to the provision of employee benefits, Contractor shall comply with the County Ordinance which prohibits contractors from discriminating in the provision of employee benefits between an employee with a domestic partner and an employee with a spouse.

  • COMPLIANCE WITH OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH By submission of a bid in response to this solicitation, the Bidder certifies that all material, equipment, etc., contained in their bid meets all OSHA requirements. Bidder further certifies that if they are the awarded Contractor, and the material, equipment, etc., delivered is subsequently found to be deficient in any OSHA requirements in effect on date of delivery, all costs necessary to bring the material, equipment, etc., into compliance with the aforementioned requirements shall be borne by the Contractor.
