Concrete Quality. The user shall check the composition of concrete at the time of manufacture in the batching-mixing plant or when delivered on site, and make sure that grading curves are consistent with the present technical specifications document. The user shall check the workability of the various types of concrete mentioned above through a slump test prior to and after placing of fibres. According to the placement method, the user shall carry out a self control on the quantity of used fibres with regard to the volume of placed concrete, and verify that concrete is free of “urchins”.

Concrete Quality. Includes verification of concrete ingredients, delivery of the approved mix, mix-time limits and water content; determination of the required type, quantity, and frequency of tests to be performed; sampling and field testing of fresh concrete; making and handling of test specimens; and verification of concrete strength prior to tendon stressing.
Concrete Quality. All plans submitted for approval or used for any project shall clearly show the specified strength, fc', of concrete of the specified age for which each part of the structure was designed. Concrete that will be exposed to sulfate containing or other chemically aggressive solutions shall be proportioned in accordance with "Recommended Practice for Selecting Proportions for Concrete (ACI 613)" and Recommended Practice for Selecting Proportions for Structural Lightweight Concrete (ACI 613A)."
Concrete Quality. Verify that individual batch tickets indicate delivery of the approved mix as specified. Verify time limits of mixing, total water added, and proper consistency and workability for placement. Determine the required type, quantity, and frequency of tests to be performed on fresh and hardened concrete. Observe sampling of concrete, field testing of fresh concrete, and making of test specimens. Provide or arrange for proper specimen identification, site storage and protection, and transportation to the testing laboratory. Provide or arrange for communication of field-testing results to the architect or engineer of record and to the Building Official.

  • Image Quality You are responsible for the image quality of any Image that you transmit.   • Indoor Air Quality The Employer shall ensure a healthful air quality and attempt to ensure comfortable air temperature in buildings it owns and in space that it leases.

  • WARRANTY/QUALITY Unless a longer warranty is called for elsewhere in the Contract, Contractor, manufacturer, or their assigned agents shall guarantee the workmanship, product or Services performed against defective workmanship, defects or failures of materials for a minimum period of one (1) year from District’s written approval of the Work. All workmanship and merchandise must be warranted to be in compliance with applicable California energy, conservation, environmental, and educational standards.

  • Power Quality Neither the facilities of Developer nor the facilities of Connecting Transmission Owner shall cause excessive voltage flicker nor introduce excessive distortion to the sinusoidal voltage or current waves as defined by ANSI Standard C84.1-1989, in accordance with IEEE Standard 519, or any applicable superseding electric industry standard. In the event of a conflict between ANSI Standard C84.1-1989, or any applicable superseding electric industry standard, ANSI Standard C84.1-1989, or the applicable superseding electric industry standard, shall control.

  • Air Quality To the extent applicable, Consultant must fully comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in furnishing or using equipment and/or providing services, including, but not limited to, emissions limits and permitting requirements imposed by the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) and/or California Air Resources Board (CARB). Although the SCAQMD and CARB limits and requirements are more broad, Consultant shall specifically be aware of their application to "portable equipment", which definition is considered by SCAQMD and CARB to include any item of equipment with a fuel-powered engine. Consultant shall indemnify City against any fines or penalties imposed by SCAQMD, CARB, or any other governmental or regulatory agency for violations of applicable laws, rules and/or regulations by Consultant, its subconsultants, or others for whom Consultant is responsible under its indemnity obligations provided for in this Agreement.

  • COUNTY’S QUALITY ASSURANCE PLAN The County or its agent will evaluate the Contractor’s performance under this Contract on not less than an annual basis. Such evaluation will include assessing the Contractor’s compliance with all Contract terms and conditions and performance standards. Contractor deficiencies which the County determines are severe or continuing and that may place performance of the Contract in jeopardy if not corrected will be reported to the Board of Supervisors. The report will include improvement/corrective action measures taken by the County and the Contractor. If improvement does not occur consistent with the corrective action measures, the County may terminate this Contract or impose other penalties as specified in this Contract.
