– CONFIRE Director Level. If the grievance is accepted, or the parties agree to hold in abeyance any objections to the procedural and/or substantive grievability of the grievance the grievant shall submit the written grievance to the CONFIRE Director within five (5) working days of the notification of the Employee Relations Division’s determination. The CONFIRE Director shall meet with the grievant personally or telephonically within a reasonable period of time, not to exceed twenty (20) working days of receipt of the written grievance from the employee. Within fourteen (14) working days of the meeting, the CONFIRE Director shall give a written decision to the employee. If the employee is not satisfied with the decision of the CONFIRE Director, the employee may proceed to the next step.
