Common use of Confirmation of Test Results Clause in Contracts

Confirmation of Test Results. a. Employees notified of a positive alcohol test result may request the opportunity to have a blood sample drawn for analysis at either a hospital or certified testing lab as chosen by the Employer. b. Employees notified of a positive drug test may request that the Medical Review Officer send a portion of their first sample to the hospital or HHS certified laboratory of the employee’s choice for testing by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry. c. The cost of employee requested tests are the responsibility of the employee. If the test results are negative, the Employer will reimburse the employee for the cost of the test.
