Common use of Conformity to Law Clause in Contracts

Conformity to Law. This Agreement shall be governed and construed according to the Constitution and Laws of the State of Washington. If any of this Agreement or any application of this Agreement to any employee or groups of employees covered hereby shall be found contrary to the Law, such provision or application shall have effect only to the extent permitted by Law, and all other provisions or applications of the Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.

The parties agree to open bargaining on any provision ruled contrary to law. The rest of the Agreement shall continue in full force and effect.
