Consideration of Hiring County Employees Targeted for Layoff or Re employment Should the Contractor require additional or replacement personnel after the effective date of this Master Agreement to perform the services set forth herein, the Contractor shall give first consideration for such employment openings to qualified, permanent County employees who are targeted for layoff or qualified, former County employees who are on a re-employment list during the life of this Master Agreement.

  • Probation for Newly Hired Employees A newly hired employee shall be on probation for a period of six (6) months from the date of hiring. During the probationary period, the employee shall be entitled to all rights and benefits of this Agreement. After completion of the probationary period, seniority shall be effective from the original date of employment.
