– CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING INSPECTION SERVICES. The Consultant shall perform all services necessary to properly coordinate the activities of all parties involved in completing the Project. These include maintaining complete and accurate records of all activities and events relating to the Project; properly documenting all significant Project changes; interpreting plans, specifications, and construction contract provisions; making recommendations to the City to resolve disputes; and maintaining an adequate level of surveillance of Contractor activities. All documentation will comply with standard City procedures, formats, and content. The Consultant shall obtain the Construction Manager’s approval for all procedures and processes. Services include, but are not limited to, the following: Meetings Schedule and attend, within ten (10) days after the Notice to Proceed, a pre-construction meeting for the Project in accordance with City procedures. The Consultant shall provide appropriate staff to attend and participate in the pre-construction meeting. The Consultant shall record a complete and concise record of the pre-construction meeting and distribute copies of the meeting minutes to the all participants and other required parties within five (5) calendar days.

  • Engineering Services Definition: Engineering Services includes any service or creative work, the adequate performance of which requires education, training and experience in the application of special knowledge in consulting, investigating, evaluating, planning and designing, engineering principles. Engineering Services covered by the Xxxxxx Architect-Engineers Act (40 U.S.C. 1102) are not covered in the primary scope of OASIS SB. Examples: Service areas that are included under the Engineering Services discipline include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Architect/Engineer (A/E) means a person registered as an architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1051, as a landscape architect pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1052, a person licensed as a professional engineer pursuant to Tex. Occ. Code Xxx., Chapter 1001 and/or a firm employed by Owner or a design-build contractor to provide professional architectural or engineering services and to exercise overall responsibility for the design of a Project or a significant portion thereof, and to perform the contract administration responsibilities set forth in the Contract.

  • Building Commissioning Services The Owner may provide as a part of its testing services the Building Commissioning services involving the project’s HVAC and exhaust systems, temperature control systems, fire detection and alarm systems, emergency power and lighting system, fire suppression system, security locks and security locking control systems, food service equipment (if applicable), and laundry equipment (if applicable). In the event the Using Agency’s Program specifies additional commissioning services, the Owner shall procure such services as well. The Owner, through its Executive Administrator, may engage an independent Commissioning Authority. It is the intent of this Article that the Commissioning Authority enforce the requirements mentioned herein and certify that the systems and equipment listed all function properly prior to the initiation of each final inspection.

  • Installation, Inspection, and Maintenance The Contractor is responsible for installation and maintenance of the BMPs as a part of its Bid. The Design Professional shall obtain the services of a qualified testing laboratory to inspect the BMPs in accordance with the permits, the costs of such inspections to be borne by the Owner. In the event of Abnormal Weather Conditions or force majeure, the Contractor shall be compensated for re-installation of BMPs at established Unit Prices.

  • Installation Services 3.1 The Bitstream 2a Service includes a Standard Install as set out below (in each case to the extent that the relevant provisioning works are not already complete for the relevant Service Order).1
