Common use of Construction Management Plan Clause in Contracts

Construction Management Plan. In consultation with the Architect of Record (“Architect”), the Construction Manager shall prepare a Construction Management Plan for the Project which shall establish the scope for the Project and the general basis for the sequence of contracting for construction of the Project. In preparation for this Construction Management plan, the Construction Manager shall evaluate the local construction market, the District’s schedule and budget goals for the Project, develop various alternative approaches, and make recommendations to the District. Upon approval by the District of the Construction Management Plan for the Project, the Construction Manager shall prepare the Construction Management Plan in final form. This document shall indicate the Project’s rationale and recommend the strategy for purchasing, construction, the various bid packages for Project, and a Master Project Schedule.
