CONTRACT PLANS AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS. The intent of the Contract Plans and Technical Specifications is to describe work that the CONTRACTOR shall perform in a manner acceptable to the OWNER and in full compliance with the terms of the Contract. The Contract Plans show general arrangements for the Work that shall be used by the CONTRACTOR in the preparation of shop and field drawings. Care shall be given to all layouts to make sure all equipment is accessible for operation. CONTRACTOR shall provide the OWNER with a complete and operable system, even though the Contract Plans and Technical Specifications may not specifically call out all items of work required of the CONTRACTOR to complete tasks, install incidental appurtenances, materials, and the like and perform contract period maintenance. CONTRACTOR is to perform the Work in accordance with the lines, grades, cross sections, and dimensions shown on the Contract Plans. Any deviations must be approved by the OWNER prior to making the deviation. The dimensions on the Contract Plans are presumed to be correct, but CONTRACTOR shall be required to check carefully all dimensions prior to beginning the Work. If errors or omissions are discovered by CONTRACTOR, CONTRACTOR shall immediately notify the OWNER in writing.

  • Technical Specifications The Technical Specifications furnished on the CD are intended to establish the standards for quality, performance and technical requirements for all labor, workmanship, material, methods and equipment necessary to complete the Work. When specifications and drawings are provided or referenced by the County, these are to be considered part of the Scope of Work, and to be specifically documented in the Detailed Scope of Work. For convenience, the County supplied specifications, if any, and the Technical Specifications furnished on the CD.

All specifications provided hereunder shall be deemed to be Confidential Information.

  • Personnel Equipment and Material Engineer shall furnish and maintain, at its own expense, quarters for the performance of all Engineering Services, and adequate and sufficient personnel and equipment to perform the Engineering Services as required. All employees of Engineer shall have such knowledge and experience as will enable them to perform the duties assigned to them. Any employee of Engineer who, in the reasonable opinion of County, is incompetent or whose conduct becomes detrimental to the Engineering Services shall immediately be removed from association with the Project when so instructed by County. Engineer certifies that it presently has adequate qualified personnel in its employment for performance of the Engineering Services required under this Contract, or will obtain such personnel from sources other than County. Engineer may not change the Project Manager without prior written consent of County.

The term "Specifications" shall also include all written matter in the Project Manual or on the drawings and any Addenda or Change Orders thereto.
