Quality and Discipline of Employees The Contractor shall at all times enforce strict discipline and good order among his employees and shall not employ on the work any unfit person or anyone not skilled in the work assigned to him.
Employee Training and Discipline Contractor agrees to advise its personnel who have access to Medi-Cal PII of the confidentiality of the information, the safeguards required to protect the information, and the civil and criminal sanctions for non-compliance contained in applicable Federal and State laws. MAINTENANCE OF CLASSROOM CONTROL AND DISCIPLINE A. When, in the judgment of a teacher, a student is, by behavior, seriously disrupting the instructional program to the detriment of other students, the teacher may exclude the student temporarily from the classroom and refer the student to the building administrator for appropriate intervention. At the request of the referring teacher, an administrator will communicate the status of a disciplinary action within two (2) work days of the request.
Student Conduct and Discipline The School shall adopt, update, and adhere to written policies concerning standards of student conduct and discipline which shall comply with federal and State laws and which shall incorporate the requirements of Section 5.6. The School shall provide copies to the School's parents and students at the start of each school year and shall make this policy readily accessible from the School’s website or school office, as described in Section 11.4.1. If the policy is not available from the School’s website, the School shall submit the current policy to the Commission.
EMPLOYMENT DISCRIMINATION BY CONTRACTOR PROHIBITED During the performance of this Contract, the Contractor agrees as follows:
Employment Verification Grantee will confirm the eligibility of all persons employed during the contract term to perform duties within Texas and all persons, including subcontractors, assigned by the contractor to perform work pursuant to the Contract.
Convicted and Discriminatory Vendor Lists In accordance with sections 287.133 and 287.134, F.S., an entity or affiliate who is on the Convicted Vendor List or the Discriminatory Vendor List may not perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under the Contract. The Contractor must notify the Department if it or any of its suppliers, subcontractors or consultants have been placed on the Convicted Vendor List or the Discriminatory Vendor List during the term of the Contract.
School discipline The Parents accept the authority of the Headmaster and of other members of staff on the Headmaster's behalf to take all reasonable disciplinary or preventative action necessary to safeguard and promote the welfare of the Pupil and the School community as a whole. The School's policies on behaviour and discipline current at the time and published on the School website apply to all pupils at the School and at all times when the Pupil is in or at school, (including when engaged in online or remote learning), representing the School or wearing School uniform, travelling to or from School, on School-organised trips or associated with the School at any time. The policies shall also apply at all times and places in circumstances where failing to apply this policy may affect the health, safety or wellbeing of a member of the School community or a member of the public, have repercussions for the orderly running of the School or bring the School into disrepute.
Employment of Engineer ENGINEER will perform as an independent contractor all services under this Contract to the prevailing engineering professional standards consistent with the level of care and skill ordinarily exercised by members of the engineering profession, both public and private, currently practicing in the same locality under similar conditions, including reasonable, informed judgments and prompt, timely actions. If ENGINEER is representing that it has special expertise in one or more areas to be utilized in this Contract, then ENGINEER agrees to perform those special expertise services to the appropriate local, regional or national professional engineering standards.
Employee Orientation Each and every person working for a contractor, including sub- contractors, will be given an orientation to familiarize them with the site safety program. Unless otherwise specified, each sub-contractor is responsible for the orientation of their workers.
