Conversion of a Courier Route. If a Courier route is converted to a Broker route, the Courier shall have one of the following options after receiving forty five (45) days' notice:

Conversion of a Courier Route. If a Courier route is converted to a Broker route, the Courier shall have one of the following options after receiving thirty (30) days' notice (except where this route conversion occurs as part of a layoff which would have affected the Courier): Bump a junior Courier. A junior Courier that is bumped shall have the right to bump the junior Courier; Accept a layoff and must wait until there is a Courier vacancy as long as recall rights continue as per Article G 4.06; Transfer to Broker status on the converted route and signing and complying with the conditions of the standard Broker Agreement in which case seniority as a Courier will be frozen; Claim a vacant Sorter position pursuant to the job posting procedure in Article G 4.12;
