Conversion to Career Status Sample Clauses

Conversion to Career Status. Except as provided in Section 4 below, in the event that an employee with a limited (casual) appointment attains 2080 hours of qualifying service within a 12-month period, without a break in service of at least 120 consecutive calendar days, the incumbent shall convert to career status of at least 50% time upon reaching the 2080 hour threshold.

Conversion to Career Status. Except as provided in Section 3 below, in the event that an employee with a limited appointment attains 1000 hours of qualifying service within a 12-month period, the University will evaluate whether to convert to career status upon reaching the 1000-hour threshold.
