Converting Sick Leave Balance. An employee who retires may convert his/her unused sick leave balance to service credit as provided by Government Code Section 20965. Any accrued unused sick leave credit that is paid out at termination pursuant to Article 8(D)(6) will not be available for conversion to service credit.
