Convocation. For the purpose of attending convocation ceremonies where a degree is being conferred on the employee or on his/her daughter, son, husband, wife, mother or father, one (1) day will be granted if the convocation is held locally during a regular work day. Should the convocation be on a regular work day but not held locally, two (2) days will be granted. If it is held out-of-town on a week-end, one (1) day will be granted. In all cases, the time off will be without loss of pay or deduction from sick leave.
