Grievance Initiation a. A grievance affecting more than one employee shall be filed with the departmental official having authority over all employees affected by the grievance.
Grievance Initiation. Only the UNION shall have the right on behalf of a disciplined or discharged employee to appeal a disciplinary or discharge action.
Grievance Initiation. Any Owner Operator and Employee, the Union, or the Company may present a grievance at Step 1. Any grievance which is not presented within five (5) working days following the event giving rise to such complaint shall be forfeited and waived by the aggrieved parties.

Only the UNION shall have the right on behalf of a disciplined or discharged employee to appeal a disciplinary or discharge action, and it must initiate this grievance at Step 2 of the grievance procedure.

37. b. Only the Union shall have the right on behalf of a disciplined or discharged employee to appeal the discipline or discharge action. These matters shall be initiated with the Appointing Officer or its designee at Step 2.
38. c. All other issues shall be initiated at Step 1.
Grievance Initiation. (a) Any hourly employee, owner operator, the Union, or the Company may present a grievance. A group and/or policy grievance filed on behalf of the Union or the Company shall be submitted at Step 3 of the grievance procedure.
(b) A grievance concerning the dismissal of an employee or termination of contract shall be submitted commencing at Step 3 of the grievance procedure.
(c) Grievances should normally be filed within ten (10) calendar days from the time the member is aware of the issue that may lead to a grievance. Union or Company group and/or policy grievances should normally be filed within thirty (30) calendar days from the time the Unit Chairperson or designate or the Regional Area Director or designate is aware of the issue that will lead to the grievance.

Grievance Initiation. 37. a. A grievance affecting more than one EMPLOYEE shall be filed with the management official having authority over all EMPLOYEES affected by the grievance. Grievances must be filed in writing on a Union Grievance Form. The grievance will set forth the facts of the grievance, the terms and conditions of the Agreement claimed to have been violated, misapplied or misinterpreted, and the remedy or solution being sought by the grievant.
38. b. Only LOCAL 200 shall have the right on behalf of a disciplined or discharged EMPLOYEE to appeal the discipline or discharge action.
Grievance Initiation. Subject to having completed the mandatory Complaint Stage set out in Article 8.2, the employee shall set out the Grievance in writing, sign the Grievance and then, within five (5) working days of the verbal reply of the immediate Non-Union Supervisor set out in Article 8.2, process the Grievance through the following Steps in the following sequence:
Step 1 The employee and/or Xxxxxxx shall present the written Grievance to the immediate Non-Union Supervisor or designate within five (5) working days as set out in this Article 8.3 above. A meeting shall be convened between the Grievor and Xxxxxxx on one hand and the immediate Non-Union Supervisor or designate and other management personnel on the other hand within five (5) working days or such longer period as is mutually agreed upon. The immediate Non-Union Supervisor or designate shall reply in writing within five (5) working days of the meeting as set out herein.
Step 2 Failing settlement at Step 1, a Business Representative of the Union and/or the Chief Xxxxxxx may within ten (10) calendar days, or longer if mutually agreed, schedule a meeting with the Administrator of the Home and/or Manager, Human Resources or designate(s). The Union Xxxxxxx(s) and/or the employee may be present at such meeting. The Administrator of the Home or designate shall reply in writing within ten (10) working days of the date of the meeting set out herein.
Step 3 Failing settlement at Step 2, a Business Representative of the Union may within ten (10) calendar days, or longer if mutually agreed, schedule a meeting with the Chief Administrative Officer or his designate. A written notice of the Appeal must be delivered to the Chief Administrative Officer of the Corporation of Haldimand County with copies to the Administrator of the Home; and the Manager, Human Resources. The Union Xxxxxxx(s) and/or the employee may be present at such meeting. The Chief Administrative Officer or his designate shall reply in writing ten (10) working days from the date of the meeting set out herein. The decision of the Chief Administrative Officer or designate shall be final and binding upon the Corporation and the Union and upon any employee affected by it unless a subsequent step or procedure to Arbitration, as appropriate, is taken within the time limits.
