Costs for Special Education. The Charter School is financially responsible for child find including student identification, evaluation and assessment expenses. All costs associated with providing educational services to students with disabilities are the responsibility of the Charter School. The Charter School shall bear the financial responsibility for evaluations and reevaluations and the provision of all services consistent with student IEPs and 504 plans. The Authorizer will pass federal funding to the Charter School based on the per pupil allocation received from the Tennessee Department of Education. Funding is available on a reimbursement basis.

The Chartering Authority will pass federal funding to the Charter School based on the per pupil allocation received from the Tennessee Department of Education. Funding is available on a reimbursement basis at the end of the first semester for all eligible students enrolled and served at the end of the first attendance period. The allocation for the second semester will be based on the number of eligible students enrolled and served on the December 1 census of eligible exceptional students.
