County Provided Equipment. 1. The County will provide the Provider with equipment for the secure access to the County network and information as needed. All equipment will be returned to the County at the end of the term or before if funding, the position or program is terminated.

In order for employees to safely perform their jobs, the County agrees to, at a minimum, provide the following equipment: • Ballistic and tactical vest • Side arm with holster, extra magazine holder and belt • Handcuffs • Pepper spray • Baton • Gun locker • Two-way radios • Cell phone • Duty ammunition Upon retirement in good standing (with a minimum of ten (10) years of continuous full-time County service), an employee shall have the right to purchase their sidearm at a cost that is agreed upon by the employee and the County.
