Common use of Court Witness and Jury Duty Leave Clause in Contracts

Court Witness and Jury Duty Leave. An employee who is called for jury duty or as a witness in a legal proceeding shall be granted leave for such duty without loss of pay. The employee shall remit to the District any compensation received for such duty, excluding any expense reimbursement.
