Common use of Criminal Act Clause in Contracts

Criminal Act. Employment on the Project by the Design Professional, or any of its subcontractors, or any employee, or independent contractor, with any prior convictions of any crimes against children, crimes of violence or crimes of moral turpitude will not be tolerated. If it is determined that any person with such criminal history is on the project site, the Design Professional agrees to take all steps necessary to remove such person from the Project and the property. The Owner shall have the right to terminate this Agreement if the Design Professional does not comply with this provision.
