Cumbria County Council. The County Council has two distinct roles in addition to being a full partner: As lead authority, the County Council is required to • facilitate and support the CSP executive and thematic partnerships in the development and overall management of the LAA. • satisfy itself and GONW that robust governance and performance management arrangements are in place for the LAA. As part of this role the County Council will work with partners to ensure that systems are in place to collect the data to support effective performance management arrangements across the LAA. • (through its Cabinet), ensure that the CSP coordinate and prepare 6 monthly monitoring reports to GONW. Cabinet will therefore have oversight of the 6 monthly performance reports. • ensure there is clear responsibility for achievement of individual targets. • approve final decisions on recommended allocation, commissioning and delivery arrangements . • make arrangements for the payment and ensure management of pooled funds, and to ensure that appropriate arrangements are in place for governance, procurement, propriety, management and payment of pooled funds. o Forecast outturn Report o End-Year Statement of Grant Usage & Certificate • Prepare and maintain a Risk Register and Action Plan for the LAA and ensure that individual risk registers and action plans are in place for each thematic area

  • Grievance Commissioner System This is to confirm the discussion of the parties during collective bargaining that they are committed to encouraging early discussion and resolution of labour relations issues at the local level and seek to resolve grievances in a timely and cost efficient manner. To that end, this is to confirm that pursuant to Article 8, the parties agree that the Employer and Union at individual nursing homes may agree to utilize the following process in order to resolve a particular grievance through the utilization of a joint mediation-arbitration procedure:

  • Office of Foreign Assets Control Neither the Company nor any Subsidiary nor, to the Company’s knowledge, any director, officer, agent, employee or affiliate of the Company or any Subsidiary is currently subject to any U.S. sanctions administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control of the U.S. Treasury Department (“OFAC”).

  • County Responsibilities 5.1 The COUNTY shall designate a COUNTY staff member to act as COUNTY’s Project Manager. It is agreed to by the parties that the COUNTY’s Project Manager will decide all questions, difficulties, or disputes, of whatever nature, which may arise relative to the interpretation of the plans, construction, prosecution and fulfillment of the Scope of Services, and as to the character, quality, amount and value of any work done, and materials furnished, under or by reason of this Agreement. The COUNTY’s Project Manager may appoint representatives as desired that will be authorized to inspect all work done and all materials furnished. 5.2 The COUNTY shall pay in accordance with the provisions set forth in this Agreement. 5.3 The COUNTY retains the right to inspect all work to verify compliance with the contract documents. Such inspection may extend to all or any part of the work and to the manufacture, preparation or fabrication of the materials to be used.

  • School District For purposes of administering this Agreement, the term "School District" shall mean the School Board or its designated representative.

  • County The term COUNTY refers to the Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, a charter County and political subdivision of the State of Florida, and any official or employee duly authorized to act on the COUNTY'S behalf relative to this Agreement.

  • Department Chairs The release time required to perform the administrative functions of the Department Chair positions shall be deducted from the total workload of the Department Chair with no less than fifty percent (50%) of this release taken from direct instructional duties.

  • District The public agency or the school district for which the Work is performed. The governing board of the District or its designees will act for the District in all matters pertaining to the Contract. The District may, at any time: 1.1.23.1 Direct Developer to communicate with or provide notice to the Construction Manager or the Architect on matters for which the Contract Documents indicate Developer will communicate with or provide notice to the District; and/or 1.1.23.2 Direct the Construction Manager or the Architect to communicate with or direct Developer on matters for which the Contract Documents indicate the District will communicate with or direct Developer.

  • County Project Manager The County shall appoint a Project Manager to act as liaison with Contractor during the term of this Contract. The County’s Project Manager shall coordinate the activities of the County staff assigned to work with the Contractor.
