Common use of CUPE ASSISTANCE Clause in Contracts

CUPE ASSISTANCE. In accordance with the CUPE 1281 by-laws, the Union will have the right to have the assistance of representatives of the Canadian Union of Public Employees when negotiating with the Employer. The Union will have the right at any time to have the assistance of representatives of the Canadian Union of Public Employees when dealing with the Employer. Such representatives will have access to the Employer’s premises in order to investigate and assist in settlement of grievances as defined in Article 12. Such access will be at a reasonable time on prior notice to the Employer and will not unreasonably interfere with the operation of the Employer’s business.
