Training Assistance.
(a) Employees shall be reimbursed for 100% of the tuition for job-related courses approved by the Employer the guidelines for which are outlined in Clause 34.4 below.
(b) Tuition fees for approved courses which lead to a diploma or a degree shall be reimbursed in the amount of 75%.
(c) Termination of employment will nullify any obligation of assistance by the Employer.
Training Assistance. Employees who have been given notice of lay-off shall be eligible on request for reasonable training at the University unless the University can substitute an equivalent course elsewhere at less cost, to develop their job skills if the provision of such training would assist in their redeployment or relocation within the University and can be completed during the notice period of lay-off. Such a request shall not be unreasonably denied even though such training program or course may extend beyond the final date of the notice period of lay-off, with the understanding that, under normal circumstances, salary and benefits shall not continue beyond the final date of the notice period of lay-off. Tuition shall be waived for any such reasonable training that is approved by the University. This shall not prevent the Employee from proposing a cost sharing arrangement with the Employer if they are requesting training that goes beyond a reasonable amount of training.
Training Assistance. The Employer shall continue to assist employees to improve their own skills through training and self-help programs on and off the clock as has been heretofore practiced, including opportunities for cross-training in other occupational fields. When opportunities for cross-training to be conducted on official time exist, notices of such opportunities will be posted on official bulletin boards to inform interested employees. (2) Tuition fees for approved courses which lead to a diploma or a degree shall be reimbursed in the amount of seventy-five percent (75%).

(c) The Parties agree that policy in effect prior to March 17, 1977 between the Government of B.C. and the BCGEU on reimbursement for less than one hundred percent (100%) will continue. The Joint Labour/Management Committee shall review the policy on these exceptions.
(d) Termination of employment will nullify any obligation of assistance by the Employer.
Training Assistance. Counsel and assist Licensee in the training of staff as to merchandising Kors Products and Store operations as may be reasonably requested from time to time by Licensee.
Training Assistance. The Employer and the Union recognize the need for Employees to thoroughly understand all training material presented to them. Wherever possible, the Union and Employer may provide assistance for an employee to understand the material as provided in English.
Training Assistance. Agency will permit access to HMIS only after the authorized user receives appropriate confidentiality training including that provided by Commerce. Agency will also conduct ongoing basic confidentiality training for all persons with access to HMIS and will train all persons who may receive information produced from HMIS on the confidentiality of such information. Agency will participate in such training as is provided from time to time by Commerce. Commerce will be reasonably available during Commerce defined weekday business hours for technical assistance (i.e. troubleshooting and report generation).
Training Assistance. 10.01 Based on its operational needs the Company shall maintain the established practice of on-the-job and other training, which shall be sufficient to allow the employees reasonable opportunities to learn additional skills and to upgrade their knowledge or skills, to the extent required to perform their jobs.
(a) Where deemed necessary by the Company, assistance shall be given to employees who attend Company approved, off premises training programs at approved institutions outside of their regular working hours, where such training relates to their employment. Assistance shall be in the form of tuition fees and books upon successful completion of the program.
(b) If such training is required by the Company and is outside the immediate area of the City of Saint Xxxx, the Company will reimburse the employee for legitimate expenses.
(c) Where the training program is conducted by the Company, time spent in such training shall be considered for the purposes of wages and benefits to be time worked and payable at the regular hourly rate.
(d) A joint labour-management committee will be established to review training requirements on a regular basis.
Training Assistance. In connection with the Software applications and the processes and procedures to which USAC has rights upon termination in accordance with Article 14 (Intellectual Property Rights) Vendor will provide to USAC or its designee such training as may be reasonably necessary for USAC or its designee, at no additional cost, to access the USAC Data and otherwise utilize said rights.
