Cutting off power. When necessary to cease torque at the drive system the power to the drive system shall be cut off safely Suitable measures for power cut-off include combinations of the following measures: a) providing contactors between the power supply and drive system (mains isolation); b) providing contactors between the drive system and the drive motor (motor isolation); c) safely blocking the control pulse of the semiconductor device within the drive system. NOTE This is not the same as isolating the electrical supply.

  • Reactive Power 1.8.1 The Interconnection Customer shall design its Small Generating Facility to maintain a composite power delivery at continuous rated power output at the Point of Interconnection at a power factor within the range established by the Connecting Transmission Owner on a comparable basis, until NYISO has established different requirements that apply to all similarly situated generators in the New York Control Area on a comparable basis. 1.8.2 The NYISO is required to pay the Interconnection Customer for reactive power, or voltage support service, that the Interconnection Customer provides from the Small Generating Facility in accordance with Rate Schedule 2 of the NYISO Services Tariff.

  • Excavation If an excavation shall be made upon land adjacent to the Leased Premises, or shall be authorized to be made, Tenant shall afford to the person causing or authorized to cause such excavation, license to enter upon the Leased Premises for the purpose of doing such work as said person shall deem necessary to preserve the wall or the building of which the Leased Premises form a part from injury or damage and to support the same by proper foundation, without any claim for damages or indemnity from Landlord, or diminution or abatement of Rent.

  • Fixtures and Fittings 8.13.1 Not to remove any of the Fixtures and Fittings from the Premises to store the same in the loft, basement or garage (if any) without obtaining the Landlord’s prior written consent, such consent not to be unreasonably withheld, and then to ensure that any such items are stored safely and upon vacating the Premises, to leave the same in the places in which they were on the Commencement Date. 8.13.2 Not to remove the Fixtures and Fittings as specified in the Inventory and Schedule of Condition or any part of them or any substitute Fixtures and Fittings from the Premises and not to bring onto the Premises the Tenant’s own equipment or effects without the prior written consent of the Landlord, such consent not to be unreasonably withheld.
