Vacancy Posting. All vacancies shall be posted in a conspicuous place in each building of the district for a period of ten (10) workdays. Said posting shall contain the following information:
Vacancy Posting. If a regular employee is absent from his/her position for more than 24 months as a result of medical leave, such position will be posted in accordance with the provision of Article 12. Upon return to work the regular employee shall be returned to work to a position of equal rank and basic pay.

Announcements of vacancies shall be posted on the official Human Resources Department web page. The posting shall state the first day of listing, shall remain open for applications from the first day it is officially posted for at least seven (7) calendar days and shall state the date at which bargaining unit consideration ends. In addition, the appropriate supervisor(s) shall notify bargaining unit employees in the department, by means of the supervisor's choosing, when a bargaining unit vacancy in the department is to be posted. Disputes regarding supervisory notification may be grieved under Article 21 but remedies shall not require reversal of the hiring decision. Employees interested in vacancies at other campuses should contact Human Resources personnel on the campus(es) to which the employee desires to move for assistance in job placement. The Employer agrees to notify the Union whenever it changes or eliminates the location for an official bulletin board.
