Common use of Dangerous Goods Allowance Clause in Contracts

Dangerous Goods Allowance. Dangerous Goods Allowance is not payable except as provided in this Clause. If the Employee’s work frequently and routinely involves the transportation of bulk dangerous goods, as defined in the Australian Dangerous Goods Code, or in carting explosives in accordance with the Australian Explosives Code, they shall receive an allowance of $14.26 on each day that they perform such work. This allowance is not payable in respect of occasional journeys involving the ad hoc transportation of Dangerous Goods or explosives.
