Common use of Date of Posting Clause in Contracts

Date of Posting. When school is in session, a notice shall be posted in the school as far in advance as practicable, ordinarily at least ten (10) school days before the final date when applications must be submitted. This period may be shortened if by mutual consent. A copy of said notice shall be given to the Association at the time of posting. Teachers who desire to apply for such vacancies shall submit their applications in writing to the Superintendent or his/her designee within the time limit specified in the notice, and the Superintendent or designee shall acknowledge promptly in writing the receipt of all such applications.
