Common use of Day Observed Clause in Contracts

Day Observed. If the scheduled holiday falls on a Saturday, the proceeding Friday shall be the observed holiday. If a scheduled holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be the observed holiday.

Day Observed. If the a scheduled holiday falls on a Saturday, the proceeding preceding Friday shall be the observed holiday. If a scheduled holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday shall be the observed holiday. All scheduled holidays shall be observed on the date specified in Section 19.7.
