Day Observed. The City shall observe those City holidays recognized by the federal government on the same day as observed by the federal government. The City shall observe those city holidays not recognized by the federal government, on the actual day of the holiday. If Christmas Eve falls on a Saturday or Sunday, it will be observed the previous Friday.
