Where an unavoidable stoppage results from circumstances such as natural disaster or rendering of a workplace useless by fire or other unavoidable destruction, employees may take annual leave rather than have salary deducted.

  • WORK STOPPAGES AND LOCKOUTS 4.1 During the term of this Agreement there shall be no strikes, picketing, work stoppages, slowdowns or other disruptive activity for any reason by the Union, its applicable Local Union or by any employee, and there shall be no lockout by the Contractor.
