Defer Commencement of Maternity Leave. The Employer shall, with the agreement of the employee, defer the commencement of the maternity leave to any period approved by a qualified practitioner. This approval shall be in writing to the Employer and shall confirm that the employee is able and capable of performing her normal responsibilities as an Early Childhood Educator.
