Definition of Grievances. (a) A grievance shall be defined as any dispute or controversy between the Employer and the Union or the Employer and one or more of its employees covered by this Agreement in respect of any matter relating to working conditions specifically covered by this Agreement; any matter involving the interpretation or application of any provision of this Agreement; or any matter involving the alleged violation of any provision of this Agreement. It is understood and agreed that any grievance arising during the terms of this Agreement shall be settled in accordance with this procedure without any stoppage of or interruption of work, either partial or complete. (b) Employer agrees to provide, to the President of the Union, with a copy to the Chairperson of the Bargaining Committee, a list of designated supervisors and those employees they supervise.
