DEFINITION OF VACANCIES. A vacancy shall be defined as a position within the district presently unfilled including newly created positions, as well as such positions currently filled but anticipated to be open in the future. Open positions created because of a Leave of Absence shall not be considered a vacancy unless the Leave of Absence exceeds one year.
