Definition - Paid Holidays. a) For the purpose of this Section of the Agreement, a paid holiday shall be taken to mean a twenty-four (24) hour period commencing at 12:00 a.m. on the holiday concerned. Should either party to this Agreement request any deviation from the hours specified, the request shall be discussed. b) For continuous shift employees on a twelve (12) hour shift, a paid holiday shall be taken to mean a twenty-four (24) hour period commencing at 8:00 a.m. on the holiday concerned.
