Definitions and General Requirements. 2.1. Terms used in this Agreement shall have the meanings given below, unless the context requires a different interpretation or meaning. Additional terms are defined elsewhere in the Agreement as they occur.
Definitions and General Requirements. The terms “action”, “grievance” and “appeal” are used as follows to describe the Global Commitment to Health Waiver grievance system: ‘Action’ means • The denial or limited authorization of a requested service, including the type or level of service; • Reduction, suspension or termination of a previously authorized service; • Denial, in whole or in part, of payment for a service; • Failure to provide services in a timely manner; or • Failure of the OVHA or one of its subcontracted Departments to act within the established timeframes for grievances and appeals.
