Department of Public Safety. All qualified employees assigned to Tower Climbing activities shall, when actually climbing Department of Public Safety radio towers for inspection or repair activities, be compensated at the rate of ten dollars ($10.00) an hour in addition to their regular hourly rate of pay. Employees shall be compensated for a minimum of one (1) hour of such work regardless of the length of the climbing assignment. Employees must be Department of Public Safety certified to perform tower climbing activities to be eligible for this climbing stipend.
