However, there may be occasions where the deregistering Landlord does not intend to dispose of any of its grant funded stock. In this case the Agency anticipates there would be no sales receipt from which to recover grant vested in those properties. Where the Landlord is able to demonstrate to the Agency’s local office that immediate repayment of Financial Assistance would result in financial hardship, the Agency may consider (in its discretion) other options such as payment deferral or repayment by instalments.
