Designing Airport Systems. Potential Providers should have experience of • Providing advice on airport masterplans and their related surface access, in the context of nationally or internationally significant strategic infrastructure decisions, and future changes forecast in aviation and other industries. • Airport Masterplanning, meaning: o the operational viability and feasibility of airfield designs, plans or modes of operation on the proposed schemes': • efficiency, • reliability, • resilience, • security, • safety, • scalability and • impact on existing or planned airspace structures. o Alongside this, Potential Providers should be capable of undertaking detailed modelling of the operational impacts of forecasts supplied for future growth in Air Traffic Movements, passenger numbers and fleet mix changes, to provide a view as to the appropriateness of an airport's masterplan and infrastructure in changing scenarios. • Airport resilience, with the capability of modelling the scheme's ability to prevent, anticipate or respond robustly to disruptive events, such as but not limited to meteorological conditions, acts of God, deliberate sabotage or damage and accidents. • Airport safety, with the capability of modelling the likelihoods and probabilities of how certain airport designs, plans or operating systems may either compromise or enhance safety, and identifying how various groups' safety is compromised or enhanced within these scenarios. • Scalability and transition, providing advice and support on the operational transition arrangements between 'as is' and future airport development. Alongside this, providing advice on the scalability of scheme designs and plans to align with future development in technology I fleet mix, new commercial models the airport may wish to emulate, and potential changes in operating mode or airfield requirements (e.g. changes in Rapid Exit Taxiways, Rapid Access Taxiways, etc.). • Airspace, with the capability of modelling the relationship between scheme designs, plans and modes of operation and their ensuing airspace requirements, including identifying any issues and constraints in airspace structures in UK or European airspace. Potential Providers will be required to have an excellent understanding of the UK and Europe's current airspace structures and operations, as well as ongoing or future airspace developments in these jurisdictions. • Airport and airspace regulation, at national, European and global levels, the likely direction of travel of fut...

SHORT TERM EXTENSION In the event a replacement Contract has not been issued, any Contract let and awarded hereunder by the State, may be extended unilaterally by the State for an additional period of up to 3 months upon notice to the Contractor with the same terms and conditions as the original Contract including, but not limited to, prices and delivery requirements. With the concurrence of the Contractor, the extension may be for a period of up to 6 months in lieu of 3 months. However, this extension terminates should the replacement Contract be issued in the interim. PROCUREMENT INSTRUCTIONS Authorized Users should refer to the documents attached as Appendix G – Processes and Forms Templates for specific instructions on the usage of this Contract.   • Computer Equipment Recycling Program If this Contract is for the purchase or lease of computer equipment, then Contractor certifies that it is in compliance with Subchapter Y, Chapter 361 of the Texas Health and Safety Code related to the Computer Equipment Recycling Program and the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality rules in 30 TAC Chapter 328.
