Membership Dues Association membership dues, as explicitly approved by the Trustees;
New Member Orientation The Employer will notify the Union of any newly represented temporary employees. The Union will be given the opportunity to have a Union representative speak with the newly represented temporary employees for not more than thirty (30) minutes to provide information about the Union and this Agreement.
New Members No person may be admitted as a member of the Company without the approval of the Member.
Transfer outside of the Bargaining Unit (a) A nurse who is transferred to a position outside of the bargaining unit for a period of not more than three (3) months, or is seconded to teach for an academic year shall not suffer any loss of seniority, service or benefits. A nurse who is transferred to a position outside of the bargaining unit for a period of more than three (3) months, but not more than one (1) year shall retain, but not accumulate, her or his seniority held at the time of the transfer. In the event the nurse is returned to a position in the bargaining unit, she or he shall be credited with seniority held at the time of transfer and resume accumulation from the date of her or his return to the bargaining unit. Transfer of Membership Membership shall not be transferred except with the approval and consent of the Board of Managers and in accordance with the Capital Units Transfer System.
Tax Exempt Status of TIPS Members Most TIPS Members are tax exempt entities and the laws and regulations applicable to the specific TIPS Member customer shall control.
