Director-General and the Secretariat i. The Organisation shall be headed by a Director-General who will be appointed by the Governing Board for a period of three years as per the prescribed qualifications and criteria from among the nationals of the Member States as mentioned in the Rules of Procedure. The Director- General may be removed by the Governing Board before the completion of the term as per Rules of Procedure.
