Common use of Disability Allowance Clause in Contracts

Disability Allowance. 2119.2.1 If significant disabilities occur for a period of two weeks or more because of construction, reconstruction, alteration, major repair or other like work at or in the immediate vicinity of the premises in which the employee/s are required to work, the employee representative which may be a union representative may claim the allowances prescribed in 2119.2.2 and 2119.2.3 on behalf of affected employees, to be paid from the date of the claim.
