DISABLED EMPLOYEE PREFERENCE. Any employee covered by this Agreement who has given good and faithful service to the Employer and who, through advancing years or temporary disability is unable to perform their duties, shall be given priority of consideration of any light work available, and for which they are qualified, at the salary payable for the position to which they are assigned.

DISABLED EMPLOYEE PREFERENCE. Any regular employees covered by this Agreement who have given good and faithful service to the Board and who, through advancing years or disability are unable to perform their regular duties satisfactorily, shall be given the preference of any light work available with no reduction in pay rate. Such employees shall not displace from their position an employee with more seniority. Light work positions filled in accordance with this Clause shall not be posted.
DISABLED EMPLOYEE PREFERENCE. The Employer and Union both recognize a duty to accommodate a disabled employee. Each party will, when required, take reasonable steps to accommodate short of undue hardship.
DISABLED EMPLOYEE PREFERENCE. An employee covered by this Agreement who has suffered a disability or through advancing years is unable to perform the employee's duties shall be given priority to any available work for which the employee is qualified and which the employee is capable of performing, at the wage rate for the position for which the employee is assigned.
DISABLED EMPLOYEE PREFERENCE. A long service employee who is unable to perform the regular duties of the position, shall be given priority of consideration of any work within that employee’s medical limitations that is available and for which the employee is qualified, at the salary payable for the position to which assigned.
