Common use of Discharge Procedure Clause in Contracts

Discharge Procedure. An employee who has completed his probationary period may be dismissed, but only for just cause, and only upon the authority of the Employer. When an employee is to be discharged or suspended, he shall be given the reason in the presence of his shop xxxxxxx, unit representative or his designate.
