Discharge Process and Procedure. a) Upon receipt of a supervisor and/or Vice President’s recommendation to dismiss an employee, the President shall inform the employee, in writing, of a time at which the employee may present any additional facts, material, or evidence regarding the employee’s potential discharge to the President or a designee. Failure by the employee to appear shall act as a waiver by the employee to the aforementioned meeting but shall not be construed as an admission regarding the allegations. The employee may be represented by the union or an attorney in the meeting.
