Disciplinary Action Against Students. 1. The School District agrees to hold administrators harmless from any financial loss (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of disciplinary action taken against any pupil in the District or legal judgment by reason of any act (or omission to act) by such administrator who at the time of the act or omission complained of was acting in the discharge of his/her duties and within the scope of his/her employment or under the direction of the School District. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the District shall be under no obligation to satisfy any financial or other penalty imposed upon an administrator as the result of conviction of a criminal offense.

  • Disciplinary Grievance If a grievance alleging that a disciplinary action (reduction in base pay, demotion, involuntary transfer of more than 50 miles by highway, suspension, or dismissal) was taken without cause is not resolved at Step 2, the PBA may appeal the grievance to arbitration within 15 days after receipt of the decision at Step 2, provided the Step 2 decision is received on or before the due date.

  • Record of Disciplinary Action (a) The Employer agrees not to introduce as evidence in a hearing relating to disciplinary action, any document from the file of an employee, the existence of which the employee was not aware at the time of filing.

  • Causes for Disciplinary Action The following causes shall be grounds for disciplinary action:

  • Disciplinary Grievances If the grievance is not resolved at Step 2, the Union may file a request for mediation with the Public Employment Relations Commission (PERC) in accordance with WAC 000-00-000, with a copy to the Office of Financial Management/SHR/Labor Relations Section (OFM/SHR/LRS) and the Human Resources Office within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the Step 2 decision. In addition to all other filing requirements, the request must include a copy of the grievance and all previous responses.
