Disciplinary Action and Written Reprimands. ‌ The Employer will not discipline any permanent employee without just cause. The principles of progressive discipline shall be used, except when the Attorney General or designee determines that the nature of the problem requires an immediate suspension or termination. The following actions will be considered discipline for the purposes of this Article: reduction in pay, suspension without pay, demotion, or termination. Discipline must be provided to the employee in writing.
