Common use of Disciplinary Appearance Clause in Contracts

Disciplinary Appearance. An employee shall be given written notice if he/she is required to appear before the Administration regarding any investigation. If the employee reasonably believes that the outcome of the meeting will result in disciplinary action, the employee may request the presence of a Union representative. If an employee is required to sign a written reprimand, suspension letter or notice, the employee's signature shall mean only that the employee has received a copy of the letter or notice; it does not mean the employee agrees with the contents. Written notice of this disclaimer shall be on all disciplinary documents.
