Common use of Disciplinary Appearance Clause in Contracts

Disciplinary Appearance. When an employee is required to appear before the Administration and/or the Board regarding the discipline or dismissal of an employee, the employee and Union shall be given a written notice forty-eight (48) hours prior to any meeting, except in cases related to safety issues or conduct with students, and be entitled to have a representative of the Union present.
