Dispatch Procedure. The geographic resource list will identify Contractor resources location. The Government ordering official (Dispatch, Local Office, etc.) will consult the geographic resource list when an incident occurs and choose the contractor closest to the incident taking contractor mobilization into consideration. The ordering official will inform the Contractor of the location, quantity required, and date and time needed. If that Contractor is unable to meet the requirements, the next closest Contractor will be contacted. The Government reserves the right to utilize vendors’ resources in a manner that it deems to be in the best interest of the Government. Hosting agencies may establish dispatch priority lists, rotations, or response zones, but such arrangements are not required.
